OVERHAUL OF INGRSOLL DRILLING MACHINE

Restoring precision and quality in cutter sharpening.

The Ingersoll cutter sharpener was experiencing quality issues in sharpening, compromising cutting edge accuracy and reducing operating efficiency.

After an in-depth analysis we identified several critical issues including play and wear on sliding components , lubrication problems and compromised mechanical parts.

To restore maximum efficiency we performed a complete overhaul consisting of complete disassembly of the machine for a detailed inspection of all components, manual scraping and coupling of the carriage guides , the apple carriage and the table carriage to ensure smoothness and precision, replacement of all bearings, overhaul of all pistons of the machine and modification of the lubrication system , finally after the complete reassembly of the sharpener we performed various functional tests to verify correct operation and guarantee a high level of performance.
