PFAUTER PA200 GEAR MACHINE OVERHAUL

Restoring machining precision and eliminating oil leaks.

The Pfauter PA200 gear hobbing machine had problems with the precision of the workpieces and various oil leaks , compromising the quality and reliability of the machine.

After a thorough analysis we identified the causes of the defects and carried out a complete overhaul to bring the machine to its original performance.

The overhaul included the complete disassembly of the machine in a truly accessible way to all critical areas, grinding and scraping of the base guides , Turcite deposit on the upright to improve smoothness, scraping for coupling the upright on the base with control of absolute perpendicularity, complete overhaul of the table eliminating play and movement defects, complete overhaul of the head to ensure maximum efficiency finally after reassembling the machine we performed various functional machining tests verifying the absence of oil leaks and the restoration of maximum operating efficiency.
