PARTIAL OVERHAUL OF THE CLC 900 GEAR MACHINE

Restore functionality and operational precision of the table.

The CLC 900 gear hobbing machine had a serious table problem caused by a lack of adequate lubrication , the customer continued to use the machine until the table completely jammed .

After a detailed analysis we found that the sliding tracks were seized and damaged making it impossible for the board to move properly.

To restore the full efficiency of the machine we performed an overhaul process that included the complete disassembly of the table for a thorough damage assessment, the grinding of the sliding tracks on the table eliminating deformations and signs of seizure, the reconstruction of the worn surfaces by applying Turcite to ensure smooth movement, the hand scraping of the guides to obtain a perfect fit, finally after assembling the machine we performed various functional tests to verify the correct sliding of the table and the absence of abnormal friction.
