PARTIAL OVERHAUL OF PFAUTER 400 GEAR CUTTING MACHINE
Elimination of stress on the main engine and kinematic optimization.
There Pfauter 400 gear hobbing machine had an abnormal overload of the main motor , which compromised the stability of the production process.
A thorough analysis highlighted that the problem was caused by high resistance in the movements of the board and the head , with abnormal friction that impacted the entire transmission system.
To restore optimal operating conditions we have carried out a series of interventions which include the complete overhaul of the table with verification of registration and restoration of smoothness, overhaul of the head to eliminate friction and optimise movement precision, inspection and restoration of the main engine transmission organs to ensure uniform power distribution, overhaul and calibration of the PiV variator .
After reassembly we performed a series of functional tests to verify the accuracy and operational efficiency of the machine.
