CLC 600 GEAR MACHINE REPAIR

Restoration of tailstock guides and upright coupling.

The CLC 600 gear hobbing machine suffered damage to the tailstock guides due to a lack of lubrication , compromising the correct sliding and machining precision .

To restore the machine to proper operation, we performed a specialized repair that included grinding the base guides to eliminate imperfections and bring it back to the original tolerances, applying Turcite to the tailstock guides to ensure smooth sliding and longer life of the guides, precision manual scraping for perfect coupling and to ensure maximum control of movements and finally after reassembling the upright we performed a series of functional tests to verify the precision and stability of the tailstock.
