Eliminate play and restore precision in gear depth.

The Gleason bevel gear hobbing machine had an error in the gear depth measurement, compromising the machining accuracy.

After a detailed analysis , we identified that the cause of the problem was excessive play on several mechanisms , which altered the stability and accuracy of the tank.

To solve the problem we performed a repair intervention that includes the complete disassembly of the carriage to inspect each critical component, checking and overhauling the damaged parts eliminating abnormal play, reassembling the machine with centesimal precision ensuring perfect alignment, recording the carriage thieves to ensure stability precision in movements and finally in-depth machining tests were performed to confirm the correct restoration of the depth quota.
