LORENZ LS 400 GEAR MACHINE REPAIR

Reconstruction of the table movement mechanism and restoration of functionality.

An accidental impact compromised the correct functioning of the Lorenz LS400 gear hobbing machine , seriously damaging the table movement mechanism.

To restore the correct functioning of the gear cutter, we performed a structural intervention that included dismantling the machine into 2 parts in order to have access to the internal components, the reconstruction of all the components worn or broken due to the impact by restoring them to their original conditions and the replacement of the bearings thus improving the fluidity and stability of the movements.

After reassembling the machine, we performed functional tests to verify the correct operation of the table moving mechanism and ensure accuracy and operational efficiency .
