Elimination of vibrations restores machining precision.

The Kesel rack milling machine had problems with vibration during machining, especially when producing conical racks, compromising the quality of the finished part.

After a thorough analysis we identified the cause in the excessive play in the head bearings , which affected the stability and precision of the tool.

To solve the problem we performed a repair intervention that included the complete disassembly of the head to analyze the condition of the components, replacement of all the bearings eliminating the abnormal play, adjustment of the tapered bearings to ensure perfect stability, reassembly of the machine with careful verification of the alignment and finally we performed various functional tests to verify the precision of the milling and the absence of vibrations.
